Anniston, AL. — The former Victoria Inn has reopened as a small upscale boutique hotel as of the week of March 21st, 2016. The entire hotel has been significantly renovated and restructured. The guest registration has been relocated to the Carriage House which also includes a new high profile bar—Spencer’s Bar.
Hotel Finial has fifty-six deluxe rooms along with an additional five specialty suites that maintain the hotel’s historical aspects while adding modern décor.
Hotel Finial is locally owned by Senator Del Marsh along with his wife, Ginger Marsh. Jackson Hospitality Services of Birmingham, AL. has been hired as the management company. Jackson Hospitality has hired Stephanie Mervine as the General Manager. Mervine brings a combination of extensive Hilton, Marriott, and Starwood management experience with a strong emphasis in sales.
Guests at Hotel Finial will enjoy enhanced amenities that include a full hot breakfast buffet with a gourmet grits bar, upgraded free high-speed internet with Wi-Fi throughout the property, and an outdoor pool with a gazebo.
The Cottage
Hotel Finial is located in the heart of Historic Downtown Anniston and is the ideal location for weddings, family reunions, high school reunions, corporate events, and groups. All events are completely customizable with open indoor spaces within the mansion as well as freedom for outdoor events.
The main house contains specialty suites which were custom designed and named after the original owners of the mansion between the years 1888-1949. Each suite in the main house provide a beautiful, hilltop view of downtown Anniston and the Cheaha Mountains. Hotel Finial also has a specialty poolside cottage suite that provides a private and relaxing stay for guests.
